Description

Last week in New York was a gloomy week. It rains for days and days. When it's not raining, there's always overcast. The invention of the camera is so beautiful when the decay of our skin, bone, hair happens over the nature of time. Camera capture and preserve the moment. Once you hit the shutter, it's there. How wonderful is that? When looking through the reference this week, I fell in love with the work of Adam Ferriss's cam. As I was taking a walk in the rain, I found the water gathers and forms into streams and then little vortex. I was drawn to the visual of my reflection in the water, moves with the bit of vortex itself. I wonder when each time we look at the mirror, something got preserved or not? The information of light gathers, and where would it go? Therefore, once it existed, where then is that information? in another dimension, perhaps?

Design Process

However during the process, I simply can't get my face tracker to track my face. I think it's tacking it yet the posistion is far of. Afterthat I was thinking of drawing a circle with gradiant that mimic a worm hole.

Reflection

I was turly struggling this week. But it's really my own fault. Sometimes I think that I understand something but when doing it I can't recreate. I did re learned a lot and I think I am better now. We shall see. The fear is very much still there.
